One to change a life

Ok so I am what you would call a larger lady and have been happy with the way I looked..... at least I thought I was happy.

About a year ago my Sister developed Gallstones as a result of hormone changes from being pregnant. Because of this she had to change her diet, after having my beautiful nephew the gallstones stayed and she had to keep on doing the diet, she is still waiting the have the gallstones removed and has lost 6 stone and looks amazing.

So yes I felt happy with the way I looked until I saw how great my sister looked.

Ok so I am going to do the diet that my sister has been doing and posting my journey so you can see my highs, my lows and the day I hit my goal weight.

see you soon......

Anyone for Tea?

Ask any of my friends or family they will all tell you that I should have been born 100 years ago.
A time when everything was made to last. Ladies were ladies and gentleman were gentleman.
When we all dressed up for dinner and afternoon tea was the hight of fashion.
Well those of you that know about my cake business know that it is in very early stages. I have already started a blog for the business.
lunabeecakes.blogspot.com
Well in order to help Lunabee Cakes grow I have started an annul tea party I will be making lots of different cakes and teas. I invited lots of friends & family and will be giving out business cards and prices etc.
I love arranging events and will be making this an annul event fir family and friends to introduce new recipes and extras such as biscuits and cards.

I will post to let you know how it goes in a couple of weeks.

To Tattoo or Not To Tattoo?

I have always been a fan of GOOD tattoos. I feel that they are wonderful pieces of art. I also feel that is a good why of showing the love you have for someone or something.

By Tim Hendricks

When people lose someone they have care for and loved for a long time. This I feel is a great way to express the love you have for someone.
I have wanted a tattoo for a while now but haven't set my mind on what to have. First I wanted a flower like the one shown below.

Artist unknown

Then after a few months I went off the idea. This made me think what a big decision it was to make. After all if you regret having a piecing you can take it out but once you get a tattoo it's there for life that is unless you choose to pay the price and go through the pain of having it removed but then it would all have just a was of money and time.

But then something horrible happen in my life. My loving Nan who I have always been very close to passed away very suddenly in April 2011.

My Nan

This was such a big shock after nearly 5 months without my dear Nan I was watching an episode of Miami Ink with my family I said it, "I want a Tattoo." My sister asked what I would get........
"D for Doreen" (my Nan's name)

My Nan had always been there for me and I wanted the evidence of how much I loved her for all to see.
So at last I was certain of what I wanted now come the next step actually getting the tattoo done.
Well for over a month now I have been drawing the tattoo I want to get.

Of course there are many different reasons why I haven't had the tattoo done, but at the end of the day we all have love for people that are no longer here and we remember them in different ways.
But what ever way you choose to remember them what is important is that you do.
